While you are actively participating in the Ticket to Work program, you can get the help you need to find the job that is right for you and you can safely explore your work options without losing your benefits.
Who We Are
The Affinity Employment Network (AEN) is authorized by the Social Security Administration to provide Ticket to Work Program services.
We provide free services to our clients who are receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Over the past 10 years the Affinity Employment Network has helped hundreds of clients update their resume and cover letter, find jobs, prepare for interviews, report income and better understand their Social Security benefits and work incentives. AEN is a subsidiary of East Bay Innovations, an organization that has been providing direct service programs to individuals with disabilities for over 25 years with a proven track record of providing innovative and exemplary services.
At Affinity Employment Network, we offer participants employment support through self-directed services, focusing on:
- Career exploration
- Job search assistance that focuses on your employment goals
- Custom resume’s and cover letters
- Interview preparation
- Benefits planning and work incentive counseling
- Assistance reporting monthly earnings to the Social Security Administration
- Guidance with career advancement
- Re-employment Assistance, if needed
The Ticket to Work Program is flexible and voluntary
- You can easily return to benefits if you have to stop working
- You can continue to receive health care benefits
- You will not receive a medical continuing disability review (CDR) while using your Ticket to Work if you are making Timely Progress
