TESTIMONIALS

“When I contacted the Affinity Employment Network I had been out of work for about 5 years and needed a job to help support my family. An Affinity representative explained the SSDI benefits and work incentives that are available to me including the Trial Work Period and continued Medicare eligibility. We talked about the kind of work I had done and what kind of work I would like to do. Affinity suggested ways to address the work gap on my resume’ and whether I should disclose my disability.

The Affinity representative helped me update my resume and then began helping me search for work. It wasn’t very long before I found a temporary job that has turned into a permanent job. Affinity now helps me report my wages and keep track of how many Trial Work Period months I have used. They also provided me with information about opting out of Medicare since I have insurance with my company.

I’m happy to be working again and supporting my family. The help I have received from the Affinity Employment Network has been great! They have consistently answered all of my questions and provided sound advice when I have questions. I highly recommend them.”

“Dick Stein and the Affinity Network came to me just in the nick of time. With the Ticket-to-Work program, I needed a Workforce Consultant as soon as possible. I met with Dick via the phone and we were immediately compatible. I had done a lot of the legwork myself, but Dick did not hesitate to fill-in what I needed to know.

Dick immediately gave me the rules of the program, how my salary would play a role in determining my next level in the program, and when I got to a certain level, what would happen next. I am impressed because he never hesitated. Dick gave me the whole story from beginning to end and he even sent me papers which showed me he really knew what he was talking about.

I have pretty much made it through the program and I now I need help with finding the right job. Dick assigned Tanya O’Melay to work with me in this area. I can go to Dick at any time, but Tanya works with me now. Dick is remarkable! I even learned from him things about how the SSA works.

I would recommend Dick Stein and the Affinity group anytime!”
